I am an award-winning journalist and researcher with years of newsroom experience in various countries across Asia. Currently, I am a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Media Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin, where I am also pursuing a Ph.D. My research focuses on media and democracy.

I worked as a fact-checker for Agence France-Presse (AFP), where I was part of a large-scale online verification project commissioned by Meta (Facebook). Our project contributed to tools developed by Meta to scale up the content moderation process across its platforms.

I was part of a team that built the international environmental magazine Earth.org from the ground up. I served as the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine in its initial year. Prior to that, I worked as a news reporter in newspapers and magazines in India, where I covered various beats including Crime, Human Rights, Environment, and Politics.
